TCP Hylite lighting towerTCP is perhaps best known for the Terex Amida range of metal halide mobile lighting towers but in 2004 the company lifted the wraps from its very own design aimed at the premium end of the market.

The new model draws much of its design input from the in-depth experience gained by TCP's engineers over recent years and, for example, features a galvanised T-bar chassis, a unique 9.1m hexagonal mast system which is hydraulically raised and an ability to operate a total of four or six 1000 watt metal halide lamps. Power is provided by an interchangeable generator of up to 22 kVA output which is capable of providing outstanding light coverage as well as an abundance of auxiliary power.

  • Interchangeable generator (8-22kVA)
  • One-button operation hydraulic mast
  • 4 or 6 light heads
  • Fully bunded
  • Fully braked and galvanised chassis
  • Optional Adjustabeam© technology

Adjustabeam© Technology

TCP have a long history of innovation and the latest is the new Adjustabeam© technology, available as an option on the Hylite mobile lighting tower. Adjustabeam© allows you to modify the area of illumination provided by the Hylite without having to lower the mast and manually re-position the bulbs.

Safety Features

The Automatic Mast Operating Safety System is a new innovation from TCP. Once fitted to a compatible light tower it is designed to prevent the operator to move the light tower while the mast is raised. The benefits of the AMOSS system are clear:

  • Low cost solution to potential high cost incident
  • Easy to fit, operates on the existing trailer brakes
  • Fits most popular makes of lighting towers on the market today (see below)
  • Prevents towing of the tower when mast is in upright position
  • Prevents damage and injury to equipment and site personnel
  • Fully Automatic operation
