Following the successful launch of the UK’s latest mobile lighting tower at the Executive Hire Show and Bauma 2007, Essex based manufacturer Taylor Construction Plant have now delivered the first batch of Ecolite’s to leading plant hire companies.
This state of the art unit has revolutionised the mobile lighting industry by setting a new precedent in terms of energy efficiency, most recently endorsed by winning the Innovation Award at the 2007 Essex Business Awards. The Ecolite delivers massive cost savings for the end user and a much reduced ecological footprint compared to previous market leaders.
Key to the Ecolite’s ground-breaking fuel savings are the energy efficient luminaries, which provide up to a 75% saving on existing equipment. TCP’s close consultation with existing customers and end users has been responsible for an array of new features providing ecological, safety and user benefits, which cumulatively have resulted in a unit that will meet and exceed all expectations.
A fully hydraulic single axis rotating mast uses eco-friendly water based fluids and is raised at the touch of a button. The slim line, lightweight design of the unit makes transportation a breeze and the economical Hatz diesel engine ensures compliance with the latest Euro 3 exhaust emission regulations. The large fuel tank provides a massive 200 hour run time and therefore reduces the frequency of re-fuelling. The unit has a fully bunded design in the form of a robust GRP canopy which can be supplied in most corporate colours.
Ace Plant of Milton Keynes was the first company to take delivery of the new machine. They took the first units from TCP in June 2007 in all white livery to compliment their large fleet of Amida AL4000 units.
Brightlights of Tiptree, Essex, who have a long standing relationship with TCP, took delivery in August 2007. Brightlights specialise in supplying mobile lighting equipment to the events industry in across the UK.
Cramo, based in Holland, who already operate a large fleet of TCP’s Hylite lighting towers took delivery of their first units in July 2007.
