The board of Directors are proud to announce that our TCP Ecolite entry has been successful in winning outright the Essex Business Award for Innovation in 2007. This is a tremendous achievement for Taylor Construction Plant Limited and provides a high level of recognition for the technical features designed into our latest manufactured product.
The 2007 awards ceremony, organised by the Essex Chronicle and Gazette Series of newspapers, was held on Wednesday 20 September 2007 at Braxted Park, Witham. The innovation category was judged by Dr Chris Dent and Dr Phil Darbyshire of the Future Systems Capability Department at BAE Systems. Our entry faced stiff competition from across the county and were delighted to conquer entries from DC Electronics - Motorsport Specialists (also of Maldon) and FMW Risk Services (who went on to win the Essex business of the year category) on finals night.
Andrew Barker, Managing Director said “This is great credit to all that have been involved in the project thus far including the design team, assembly workshop, and parts provisioning – well done to you all.” Having just delivered the first batch of Ecolite mobile lighting towers to leading equipment providers in the UK, the Company will be looking to build on this achievement in the coming weeks and months ahead.
