With green issues continuing to dominate the political agenda, TCP are further enhancing their green credentials by developing an eco-friendly lighting tower to help reduce our ecological footprint.
Having already revolutionised the market by introducing the Amida lighting tower to the UK, TCP is about to revolutionise it again. With years of experience in this field, Andrew Barker, Managing Director of TCP always knew there was a need for a compact unit using less fuel, producing less emissions, and eco-friendly in every sense.
A partnership was formed with a world leading lamp designer in order to produce the energy efficient luminaries which were key to the success of the project. The new tower was well on the way to minimising operational costs.
TCP’s designers managed to build a fully hydraulic single axis rotating mast using eco-friendly water based fluids, operational at the touch of a button. Weighing only 750kg and small enough to fit across the width of a lorry, the revolutionary Ecolite will be launched in the UK at the Executive Hire Show on 31 January 2007, and globally at Bauma, Munich on 23 April 2007 where the operational and environmental benefits will be demonstrated.
The future’s bright, the future’s Ecolite.
