Gap Group expand their fleet of TCP Tracked Dumpers

TCP mini dumper delivered in Gap Group liveryGAP Group, the UK’s largest independent plant and tool hirer, has recently opened two central London depots; Tower Bridge and Kentish Town in line with their South of England expansion plans. Both depots wasted no time in placing orders for Taylor Construction Plant’s 2006 model tracked dumper.

The Hi-T500 tracked dumper is capable of carrying a 500kg payload and can fully invert to discharge difficult material, as well as tipping directly into a standard skip. Powered by a Kubota diesel engine the Hi-T500 is only 700mm wide and can fit easily through a standard doorway.

The 2006 version features an easy access, sound proofed engine cowl which has helped to lower noise levels to 99 LWA. In addition, hand/arm vibration levels have been reduced by an impressive 20% by isolating the engine from the chassis using resilient mounts.

The twelve new machines join the GAP Groups eighty strong fleet of Hi-T500s purchased from the Essex based manufacturer in the last 12 months.

Kentish town depot manager Lee Barke commenting on the Hi-T500 said “It continues to be our preferred tracked dumper due to its robust design and build, which meets our customer’s high standards. Being based in central London a machine that is not only quiet but well suited to narrow access sites is proving a great asset”.

The new machines were delivered with custom paintwork to reflect GAP Groups corporate colours along with matching GAP Group livery, so as to fit seamlessly into their existing fleet.

TCP Area Sales Manager Joe Ambor commenting on the sale stated “For the GAP Group to continue to expand their fleet of Hi-T500s with this latest acquisition is a real testament to the robust design and build quality of the machine, after all plant hire machines take more wear and tear than any other”.

The TCP tracked dumper is readily available for hire throughout GAP Group’s national network of plant hire depots.
